Before she could drop into a proper Kung Fu stance, a balding giant hug was on her, whipping her into the air with “Howdy girl.” She looked frantically around, but everyone stood grinning, no help there. Just as she cupped her hands to slam them on his ears, he bellowed. “Margie, it’s me, WriterBob I’ve been waiting a year to take this class.” He eased her to the floor on the second waltz, looked down into her face as she gasped for breath, once, twice and he was pounding her back by the third gasp. “I’m…just…fine.” He held her at arms length, “Lord in heaven, you do look just like my Ma.”
