That's a great use for it, thanks. I think looking at different perspectives allows us to stretch our creativity a little. We can think "what can happen?" instead of "what does happen?"

There really is, and our subconscious (at least mine) is always working in the shadows making connections, but not always telling us about it. Catch it at the right angle and a whole slew of ideas can pop out.

Now I can write the scene in my main character's POV, but with that twist. I can see how it will be a great way to up the tension and provide some red herrings and uncertainty.
