This would have saved me so much revision time! Of four completed books, I've only done a brief outline for one of them. I'm like Laura, I've got most of the book in my head before I start writing, but there's enough that comes out in the typing to make the whole process interesting. After spending lots of time revising and learning much more about structure, my next book may end up with a hybrid pantser/plotter style. I'll note that certain things need to happen, even though I may not know at the time what they'll be. Thanks for another enlightening post!
