In reply to Debbie Herbert. Sounds like good advice to me, Debbie. The visualization is meant to help us mentally rehearse what we're going to do. Obviously we can't control whether the book lands on a bestseller list, but only the actions we take to write the best book or increase sales--process process! :O)

In reply to littlemissw. I have heard the same thing about writing–that you can "talk" your enthusiasm away if you're not careful. It's probably a personal thing, but I tend to keep it close to the vest while working. (Anyone else?) Good luck with your vision boards, if you try those!

In reply to colleen. Played flute and piccolo a long time ago and used to visualize fingerings then, but now I pretty much just sing — and I still visualize that.
