Rachel Funkadella!!! I miss you!!!!!!!!! I am completely and totally bummed to be missing the two of you for that weekend. The conference looks amazing. You two are, of course, always 100% amazing. :-)

WOO-Hoo! Great job Kristen, and it’s such a pleasure reading a great blog post and reading comments that are meaningful and civilized ♥️ And thank for finally giving me a definition of “Platform” that actually resonates with me: platform = relationships. Smack me upside the head. Can’t wait to see you in San Francisco! Parsnip...;-)

Jean, I'm sure you are indeed the expert at some things. But, as someone who has done quite a bit of blogging, being "the expert" is not required. It's all about being authentic and engaging. You're a writer...you've got that covered. :-)

Sigh...that blog things gets me. I can do great for a while. I know it's the shoulder vulture but he keeps saying I'm no expert and people don't care what I say. And I know that people don't necessarily need expert content but most people don't care about what the heathen did this morning.

I do agree on the relationship thing. I had a private message today from someone I'd never had any other contact with wanting me to like their page so I wouldn't be left out. Nope!

You are not alone, Joanne. Whenever I go to tweet something on Twitter or place a photo on Instagram, I think "nobody is going to want read this (or care)" so then I delete my message. Honestly, I can have an hour long conversation or more with anyone face-to-face, but on social media, I never know what to say.
