I'd love to pimp Zakarrie Clarke's Darkness Dawns. I read this and loved it: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/43839572-darkness-dawns

As for me, Redeemed, book two in the Matawapit Family Series is scheduled for release on April 19, 2019.

A single woman battles to keep her foster child from his newly-paroled father—a dangerous man she used to love.

Bridget Matawapit is an Indigenous activist, daughter of a Catholic deacon, and foster mother to Kyle, the son of an Ojibway father—the ex-fiancé she kicked to the curb after he chose alcohol over her love. With Adam out on parole and back in Thunder Bay, she is determined to stop him from obtaining custody of Kyle.

Adam Guimond is a recovering alcoholic and ex-gangbanger newly-paroled. Through counselling, reconnecting with his Ojibway culture and twelve-step meetings while in prison, Adam now understands he’s worthy of the love that frightened him enough to pick up the bottle he’d previously corked. He can't escape the damage he caused so many others, but he longs to rise like a true warrior in the pursuit of forgiveness and a second chance. There's nothing he isn't willing to do to win back his son--and Bridget.

When an old cell mate’s daughter dies under mysterious circumstances in foster care, Adam begs Bridget to help him uncover the truth. Bound to the plight of the Indigenous children in care, Bridget agrees. But putting herself in contact with Adam threatens to resurrect her long-buried feelings for him, and even worse, she risks losing care of Kyle, by falling for a man who might destroy her faith in love completely this time. https://www.extasybooks.com/maggie-blackbird/978-1-4874-2455-8-redeemed/

PIMP: Bec McMaster released the final book in her London Steampunk: The Blueblood Conspiracy series. "Dukes Are Forever" is an amazing end to a fantastic series. Highly recommend it! https://www.becmcmaster.com/

PROMOTE: I released the 2nd book in my Bennett's Bastards series, "This Time Around" https://www.jenniekew.com/

What would you do for a second chance at love?

Jane Melville has done some very stupid things in her life. Having an open sexual relationship with someone who turned out to be a thieving con man and left her standing at the altar—pregnant and penniless—was one of the worst. With her dreams of owning her own catering business down the drain, and the prospect of working at her family's patisserie for the rest of her life looking more and more likely, Jane is determined to make the most of her misfortunes. After all, things could be worse. Her baby daddy might have turned out to be the con man instead of the tall, brooding lawyer, Rafael Bennett. But just because she's willing to have a baby with the man doesn't mean she has to like him.

Rafe Bennett's life has been one of responsibility and heartache. A long time ago, he was forced to give up the girl of his dreams, then made to bear the brunt of her anger for his trouble. In the years since, he has shared his bed with Jane Melville more times than he can count, snatching moments of erotic bliss whenever he can, but when she chose to marry someone else, Rafe walked away for good. Or so he thought. When fate thrusts Jane back into his life—complete with baby on board—Rafe seizes the opportunity with both hands. He lost her once and never truly got her back, but he's determined to change their fate. He knows in his heart that with a little persuasion and a whole lot of cake, everything will be different this time around!

I love that WITS does this! Thank you for the opportunity to share. Here goes...

PIMP: ON A KNIFE'S EDGE by Lynda Bailey ( https://www.lyndabailey.net/on-a-knifes-edge-2/ )

She was once his sweet salvation…
Lynch Callan has been a dead man walking most of his life—nothing out of the ordinary for a member of the 5th Street biker gang. There was a brief period, though, when she made him believe he could be more. That he could be worthy of her, and her love. To protect her, and keep their relationship from being discovered, he went to prison. Except now the Streeters are in danger. But in order to save his crew, he must first betray them. If caught, he’ll end up dead for sure. It’ll be the mother of all balancing acts—especially with her in the picture. But Lynch will do whatever is necessary to protect the people he loves.
He was once her deepest desire…
Shasta Albright doesn’t break the rules. Not anymore. As an unruly teenager, she defied her family at every turn…even secretly befriending, then dating, then falling in love with a bad boy Streeter. Finally her recklessness caught up with her—with lasting and even dire consequences. Now she leads a pristine existence, always staying within the lines and keeping her secrets hidden. That is until he gets released from prison. Can Shasta hold her perfect world together, or will everything get hurled into chaos?
With young girls going missing, the sleepy town of Stardust, Nevada becomes an unlikely epicenter for an illicit slave trade—with Shasta and Lynch caught in the middle. Amidst the rising body count, they fight to keep their loved ones—and each other—safe. A single slipup could have deadly repercussions. It’s an untenable and treacherous position. Much like walking On a Knife’s Edge…

PROMOTE: The third installment of The King Brothers Series, JOSH'S CHALLENGE by www.elisemanion.com
Josh's Challenge (King Brothers 3)
ISBN-978-1-947727-45-8

When you live in a small town, reputations are impossible to transcend…
Plagued by social anxiety, Melissa Theroux has always used her shy girl label to her advantage. But now that she’s living next door to the town’s playboy, she’s going to have to get creative to push away his advances.
Josh King has always been intrigued by Melissa, especially since she’s the one girl in town who’s never chased after him. He’s determined to break through her shy reputation and make her a part of his life forever.
When a stalker comes calling at Melissa’s door, she must turn to Josh for help. Now Melissa must learn to overcome her panic attacks in the midst of beginning a new relationship, a new career…and an old past that won’t leave her alone.
