I am new to Scrivener and trying to backup as per above. I have created a new folder but when I try to open the saved zip files I get an error message saying
"Cannot access. File is not writable: access is denied. Autosaves need write permission to your project".
I have tried various folder locations on my C drive but cannot work it out.
Any advice?

Question: I'm trying to do what you suggested in number 3, making duplicates of my back-ups, but what if one of your novels have not made a back-up copy yet. Let me explain. This novel is going to replace the first one that I had started and was not satisfied with it so started again, using some of the scenes from the first novel. But don't know if that's the reason.
