Presentation is a huge part of good critique, absolutely. I&#039;m sorry--it sounds like you had a discouraging experience. That&#039;s one of so many reasons I am passionate about making sure authors get feedback that is positive, constructive, and useful--anything else can be destructive to the art and the artist.

Hopefully, though, we as creatives can also learn what&#039;s valid critique that we can consider and use, and what&#039;s useless criticism that isn&#039;t effective for improving our writing or skills, and that we can disregard.
