It’s a visualization idea I adapted from a friend who is a therapist. I lean on psychology quite a lot in learning about writing deeper emotions.

It’s all part of our brains needing context, continuity and closure. The brain is constantly searching its archives looking for how to deal with present thing based on how the past thing was handled. How is this like that past thing?
