					<description><![CDATA[A fantastic post. It helps to explain about cutting unnecessary scenes and when one should and (maybe) should not.
As writers we are so often given a &#039;rule&#039; with nothing more. &#039;Kill your darlings&#039;, &#039;The road to hell is paved with adverbs&#039;, &#039;decide who is your perfect reader&#039; etc. But more often than not, these so-called rules are not explained.
