Hello Jack,

It's tough sometimes to step back and see a bigger pattern when we are writing. This little trick can help writers analyze their writing and to strengthen it.

I'll often find that when I start digging around in my manuscript, I get off task and it's frustrating for me to not have clear outcomes in mind. It must be my high school teacher training and background, but worksheets help me stay organized as well.

Sure thing, Jenny! I found it when researching this post.

The push-pull--nice way to describe it. 🙂 It does add that spicy what-will-happen-next element. If one is trying to be intentional about crafting this type of tension, or just wants to find out where it could use better pacing, this is one way to accomplish that.
