Ngl, the "reaffirm" concept is so real, especially when you're feeling burnt out from the creative hustle—tbh I've been using <a href="[Link deleted]

My word is 'reaffirm' because I started out with such high hopes and belief in myself, but lack of money and other more personal things got in the way. We want to present our very best but even with self-publishing so much is involved especially financially that I considered I was fooling myself. I did this often.
Now I am reaffirming that I have to try harder and believe in myself more. I still have the same problems, but I also have a me that believes in not giving up and that to keep on trying is the only way to get better. Failing is just another way of learning what not to do. I wrote a post about this and now I need to believe in what I wrote.

My word for 2026 is RETHINK.

in Dec. 2025, I realized I was in a writing rut and it was reflected in my writing. The book I am working on is stagnating.
