Thanks for sharing and helping us all to have better tag lines. Here's my favorite one for a book I wrote years ago about past lives echoing through to contemporary relationships (romance fiction): "What if the problems in your life began before you were born, and echo into your future?"

I do believe tag lines sell books. I've used them in all my marketing materials & have had readers say that one in particular intrigued them enough to get the book.
