Then I needed to learn to edit a book. (still working on that one) But I totally enjoy the journey, even while pulling my hair out when things aren't working. I keep learning, improving and doing.

Writing is hard. There is a lot you don't know and you don't know what you don't know. So enjoy the ride instead of wallowing in despair. I know that I'm not the best writer out there but there is an audience for my books, even if it is only one person. And the key--never give up.

I use AI sparingly. I don't let it write anything for me. I'll use it for brainstorming and ideas when stuck, and for the essentials of grammar but I don't let it change a thing I've written. AI has it's uses, so get familiar with it. But writing your book isn't one of them.
